What is cutting or Adjustment or AD in sales?
Cutting or adjustment is a malpractice done by some sales people to take orders from channel partners like distributors or retailers to meet out their target in terms of giving some percentage of total order value to increase the profitability of buyer on that particular order value. Although it is not done by choice by sales people, moreover negative pressure from company to achieve sales targets.
As per my personal opinion, I highly advice to leave that type of organisation immediately, where sales pressure is high & sales people have to pay from their pocket.
