Position: Area Business Manager (Individual Role) Location: Bangalore, Chennai, or Delhi Industry: Medical Devices Product Focus: High-quality medical devices tailored for specialized healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales and business development initiatives within your assigned territory to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, and distributors in the Neuro, Uro, Gastro, or Cardio specialties.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop effective sales strategies and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to align on promotional activities, training programs, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies, and ethical sales practices in the medical device sector.
• Travel within the assigned area as required to meet clients and attend industry events or conferences.

This is an individual contributor role, focusing on independent execution of sales goals without direct team management, allowing for high autonomy and performance-based rewards.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager (KAM) or Area Sales Manager (ASM) in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, specifically within Neuro, Uro, Gastro, or Cardio specialties.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in sales and business development in specialized medical segments.
• Strong understanding of medical devices, healthcare regulations (e.g., CDSCO guidelines in India), and specialty-specific clinical needs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data analysis for sales reporting.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive CTC up to 15 LPA (based on experience and qualifications), including base salary, incentives, and performance bonuses.
